Desert Knowledge CRC backs Aboriginal Boys’ Video Achievement

Four young Aboriginal boys from Western Australia’s Goldfields have had their video selected from hundreds of
entries from around the world to win the Most Impressive Achievement Award in an international Lonely Planet
video competition.

Stanley Adams (13), Karthi Muir (11), Nathan Abdullah (11) and Kuberan Muir (9) from the Walkatjurra Cultural
Centre in Leonora entered Papinmaru, a short video about hunting a fat goanna (papinmaru).
